Scare at the Fair
Scare at the Fair starts this Friday at 7:30pm! The Kids Zone will include a hay maze, coloring area, pumpkin decorating, hay ride, tattoo station, small treat bag, and there will be inflatables this weekend. There is also a walking tour and hay ride for older children and adults. Admission is $5 and all proceeds benefit the continued development of the new Belmont County Fairgrounds. Winter Storage Information
Have a boat, camper, or any other summer stuff you need to store for the winter? Store it at the Belmont County Fairgrounds for just $8.00 (plus tax) per linear foot!
You can bring in whatever you need to hide from the snow over the weekend of November 4th through the 6th, and hide it away all winter. Then come next April, pick it up the weekend of the 6th through the 8th.

Fair Time!
We sort of feel like it’s the night before Christmas, as the Belmont County Fair officially gets underway tomorrow. Hope to see everyone out there this week.

Belmont County Fair Featured on WTOV 9 Website

The Belmont County fair is quickly approaching, and preparations are already in the works.
Some 162 acres at the Belmont County fairgrounds are seeing some big renovations.
“There’s a lot of changes going on at the fairgrounds this year,” Belmont County fair board president Jerry Campbell said.
Steak Fry Saturday, August 13th
The Fair Board is having a steak fry on Saturday, August 13. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Tickets are just $15:00 and that includes steak, potato, salad and dessert. It is BYOB, but pop and water will be provided. All proceeds will go to the fairgrounds and the continued efforts to make it the best fairgrounds in the state. Contact Crystal or any Fair Board member if you are interested in tickets.
Celebrity Server Night Tuesday
Just a reminder that on Tuesday, the Belmont County Junior Fair Board will be having a Celebrity Server Night fundraiser at Undo’s in St. Clairsville. All of the details are here.
Pre-Jambo Battle of the Bands
Got a band? Well, grab an application and your demo CD and get it back to the Carnes Center for the Battle of the Bands.
The Battle will take place on July 9th, 2011, starting at 5:00 PM as part of Pre-Jamboree in the Hills Camping, and will feature national recording artist Cy Allen Yaegel as a headlining act. First prize is playing at the Belmont County Fair.
MX 213 Race Added, Schedule Changed
Just updated the MX 213 Schedule to reflect two changes. The June 12th practice date has been canceled and rescheduled for June 19th. Also, June 26th, which was previously listed as a practice date, has now been changed to a race date. Hope to see everyone there.
Celebrity Server Night June 14th
Bring all of your family and friends to the Belmont County Junior Fair Board’s Celebrity Server Night! On Tuesday, June 14th, you can have your favorite Junior Fair Board member serve you dinner.
Just come to Undo’s Restaurant in St. Clairsville between 5:00 and 9:00 PM, and they will be more than happy to wait on you. The best part is that 10% of all sales and all tips will benefit the Belmont County Junior Fair Board.
So, come on out, enjoy a great meal, and give back a little at the same time. Can’t wait to see you there!
