Scare at the Fair

Scare at the Fair starts this Friday at 7:30pm! The Kids Zone will include a hay maze, coloring area, pumpkin decorating, hay ride, tattoo station, small treat bag, and there will be inflatables this weekend. There is also a walking tour and hay ride for older children and adults. Admission is $5 and all proceeds benefit the continued development of the new Belmont County Fairgrounds. Hope to see you there!

Winter Storage Information

Have a boat, camper, or any other summer stuff you need to store for the winter? Store it at the Belmont County Fairgrounds for just $8.00 (plus tax) per linear foot!

You can bring in whatever you need to hide from the snow over the weekend of November 4th through the 6th, and hide it away all winter. Then come next April, pick it up the weekend of the 6th through the 8th.

Fair Time!

We sort of feel like it’s the night before Christmas, as the Belmont County Fair officially gets underway tomorrow.  Hope to see everyone out there this week.

Belmont County Fair Featured on WTOV 9 Website

The Belmont County fair is quickly approaching, and preparations are already in the works.

Some 162 acres at the Belmont County fairgrounds are seeing some big renovations.

“There’s a lot of changes going on at the fairgrounds this year,” Belmont County fair board president Jerry Campbell said.

Pre-Jambo Battle of the Bands

Got a band? Well, grab an application and your demo CD and get it back to the Carnes Center for the Battle of the Bands.

The Battle will take place on July 9th, 2011, starting at 5:00 PM as part of Pre-Jamboree in the Hills Camping, and will feature national recording artist Cy Allen Yaegel as a headlining act. First prize is playing at the Belmont County Fair.

MX 213 and Bingo Sunday

It will be a busy Sunday this weekend at the Belmont County Fairgrounds, with the first MX 213 motocross races of the season and Longaberger Basket and Ham Bingo.

Motocross registration will begin at 8:00 AM, followed by practice laps starting at 9:00 AM. Races are expected to begin around 11:00 AM. General admission is $5.00. Longaberger Basket and Ham Bingo will start at 4:00 PM. Admission is $20.00.
