2022 Membership Tickets will go on sale Thursday, September 9th, 2021. They can be purchased at the secretaries office.

Those holding 2020 membership tickets and completing the requirements to run for the board may obtain a petition from our secretary Becky Selmon.

Completed petitions must be returned to Becky Selmon before 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

Due to the changes set forth by Governor  DeWine, the Belmont County Fairboard has adjusted the 2020 Fair schedule to meet the demands and curfew set in place.

Junior Fair and Adult wristbands will be distributed and must be worn at all times.  Camping will be permitted for the event and will run  Friday September 4 through Saturday September 12. The cost will remain at $150.00 for the week.

Though there will be no gate admission, Membership tickets will still be available for purchase. We encourage everyone to limit guest to immediate family only for the shows, but encourage all buyers to come out on Thursday to show your support for our youth.

Jr. Fair Royalty has been moved to Monday September 7th at 5pm (building to be announced).

All animals will be in place by 8am Tuesday September 8th. Lamb show has been moved up from 4pm to 2pm with the goat show immediately after. All other shows will follow previous set schedule.

All animals that are underweight or overweight must be removed from the fairgrounds immediately following weigh in. All animals not being sold will be released following shows.All animals being sold must be registered with Sale Committee by 8pm Wednesday with the exception of swine they will register immediately following show. IF NOT REGISTERED THEY WILL NOT SELL NO EXCEPTIONS.

Showman of Showman will be moved to Friday September 11th at 4pm.

All Fair Booth projects will will follow set schedule and be released starting 8am September 12.

In order to preserve space for the Junior Fair Livestock exhibitors, there will be no open class livestock classes for the 2020 Fair.

COVID-19 has made us face many challenges in trying to hold this year’s Fair. It is extremely important that we follow the recommended guidelines set forth to hold a County Fair.

The Fairboard will have to count on you the 4-H participants and families as well as the community in ensuring these guidelines are met. Governor Dewine made it very clear in our phone conference, if county fairs do not start following the set guidelines they will come to an end.

The issues we face with COVID-19 change on a daily basis. Our ultimate goal at this time is to continue moving forward, but if things continue to get worse more changes will be on the horizon. At this time we can tell you no open class livestock entries, no circus, and Sunday’s entertainment the Stickers will not be performing.

We will do our best to keep you updated. Please be patient with us as we are trying to provide you with a safe county fair.

Don’t miss this year’s OOGEEP presents Rock’N in Ohio, for the second year in a row, THURSDAY September 5th at 11am on The Robinson Stage.  

OOGEEP presents Rock’N in Ohio is a unique one-hour interactive educational program that celebrates our great state, Saint Clairsville and Ohio’s natural gas and crude oil industry. The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP) and The Real Popfusion’s HYPEteam have partnered to deliver a prize-packed-music-fueled-family-game show experience at this year’s Fair. The free program includes family games, challenges and trivia set to popular music. Come join the fun and win some prizes!

OOGEEP is a non-profit statewide educational and public outreach program.

The Real Popfusion is an Ohio based organization that celebrates community and opportunities within the state of Ohio.

The Belmont County Agricultural Society is excited to announce that Carolina Blue, a well know bluegrass band will be playing Saturday, September 7th and that Confederate Railroad will be playing on Sunday, September 8th at the 2019 Belmont County Fair.

The Belmont County Agricultural Society will host a truck and tractor pull on June 16th, 2017 at the Belmont County Fairgrounds.

MX 213 is proud to announce The Tri-County MX Championship Series. We will be working with Fly MX Park and Lightning Raceway to hold a 5 race series. in addition we welcome the Mini-Champs Series on July 22. We will be updating event times, class list and rules in the near future.

MX 213 has decided not to run under the OMA for the 2017 season. We are working on developing a series and will be announcing more information in the coming months. Please be patient during this time.
